Job Title: Accounting Assistant
Location: Indianapolis, IN (On-Site Only)
Salary: $50,000 – $55,000 per year (based on experience)

We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our finance team in day-to-day operations within a collaborative and fully in-office environment.
Position Summary:
The Accounting Assistant will play a key role in supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, dependable, and looking to grow in an accounting role within a stable, team-focused company.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with data entry and maintenance of accounting records.
Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
Support accounts receivable by preparing and sending customer invoices and following up on outstanding balances.
Perform bank reconciliations and assist with account reconciliations.
Prepare and maintain spreadsheets and supporting documentation for monthly close processes.
File and organize financial documents and maintain accurate records.
Support the accounting team with special projects and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
1–2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite).
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills.
