Accounting Specialist

A global automotive manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join its U.S. operations in Troy, Michigan. This full-time, on-site role offers hands-on experience, career growth, and the opportunity to work with a dynamic international team.
\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nProcess accounting transactions including vendor bills, purchase invoices, and bank activity
\n\t\n\tPerform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure financial accuracy
\n\t\n\tMonitor customer and supplier aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
\n\t\n\tPrepare payment runs and assist with tax and social declarations
\n\t\n\tManage accounts payable and accounts receivable balances
\n\t\n\tClassify and archive accounting documents in accordance with internal procedures
\n\t\n\tSupport external consultants with financial statement preparation and audit documentation
\n\t\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
\n\t\n\t3–4 years of accounting experience (automotive or manufacturing experience preferred)
\n\t\n\tProficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
\n\t\n\tStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
\n\t\n\tExcellent communication and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
\n\t\nCompetitive salary: $45,000–$65,000 depending on experience
