Our after school staff provides a fun and safe environment for children to spend their time. The ideal candidate will have an interest and/or background in caring for children and a desire to be part of a team making a differences in children’s lives. Hours are M-F 1:30 to 6

• Monitor the development of each child
• Maintain ongoing and open communication with parents/caregivers
• Assure a healthy, clean and developmentally appropriate environment for the children
• Work well with assistants and volunteers that are assigned to the room/program
• Maintain accurate, complete and timely agency records; complete daily snack and attendance records
• Report all staffing, classroom and program concerns to the Director
• Responsible for the completion of the curriculum, activities and the cleanliness of the room or designated program area
• Participate in the arrival and the dismissal of the children
• Participate in all staff meetings and training sessions
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1-years prior childcare experience in a classroom setting
• Bi-lingual is a plus
