Job Summary The responsibilities of this role focus on supporting our Lab operational teams using Epic Beaker AP/CP and Non-Epic lab systems and workflows. The role involves providing innovative solutions to enhance functionality and troubleshooting issues. Collaboration with team members to optimize workflows and adhere to organizational principles is essential. This position includes analyzing, developing, and implementing new functionalities, as well as enhancing existing systems. The candidate should become an expert in Epic Beaker AP/CP and Non-Epic Lab workflows. The role requires taking call on a rotation, responding to requests, and updating the team on issues requiring escalation. This is a remote position, but onsite presence across the state for go-lives and meetings is expected. The ideal candidate will have CLS/MT/MLT certifications, understanding of laboratory workflows, basic Epic Beaker AP/CP knowledge, and excellent communication and teamwork skills. Responsibilities Assist IT teams with product selection and technical evaluation to ensure compliance with enterprise standards and adaptability to changing requirements. Create and maintain clear documentation for program development, modifications, and troubleshooting. Serve as a liaison to health system departments, ensuring proper resource use and high service levels. May lead vendor system implementations. Design solutions to improve existing systems, participate in defining system scope, and develop programs and interfaces as per requirements. Update management and stakeholders on project progress and issues through reports. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field, or equivalent experience. Certifications: CLS/MT/MLT and Epic certification in Epic Beaker AP/CP. Experience: Depending on education level: 2 years (Bachelor's), 4 years (Associate's), or 6 years (High School/GED) of IT systems and operational experience. Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills; ability to manage multiple tasks; responsive to internal customers.
