As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Driver in Bayboro, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon05:45 PM - 06:00 AMSun05:45 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out armed security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
  • Provide customer service to individuals at the location, addressing inquiries and assisting with access control as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Respond promptly and calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established protocols for emergency response.
  • Document and report observations, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to support security-related objectives.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances within the government facility environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
