Chief Executive Officer - Omaha, NE!

Our client is seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead the Foundation in fulfilling its mission of inspiring hope and joy for older adults facing life-limiting circumstances. As the most senior leader, the CEO serves as the primary strategist, fundraiser, and spokesperson, guiding both the Foundation team and the community relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fundraising & Development: Act as the principal fundraiser, building and strengthening relationships with individual donors, corporations, foundations, and community partners. Lead major gift cultivation, annual giving campaigns, and special events.
  • Organizational Leadership: Provide overall leadership and direction to the Foundation's staff, fostering a collaborative, mission-driven culture. Oversee financial sustainability, operational efficiency, and the strategic priorities necessary for long-term success.
  • Program Oversight: Partner with the team to evaluate, enhance, and expand programs, ensuring measurable impact and alignment with community needs. Support innovative program development and maintain high standards of service delivery.
  • Community Engagement: Serve as a visible ambassador for Foundation, building and maintaining partnerships with nonprofits, social service agencies, businesses, and faith communities. Represent the organization in public forums and act as a trusted spokesperson.
  • Strategic Planning: Work closely with the Board of Directors to establish organizational goals, policies, and long-range strategies that ensure resilience, growth, and mission impact.

Qualifications:
  • 5-8+ years of nonprofit fundraising leadership.
  • Track record of securing funding from individuals, foundations, and corporations.
  • Strong financial management, project management, and organizational leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; confident spokesperson.
