About the Role
The Company is seeking a President & CEO to provide exceptional executive leadership and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for long-term strategic and operational planning, program and fund development initiatives, and ensuring the consistent achievement of the organization's mission and financial objectives. This role involves providing strong, creative, and nurturing leadership to the management team, staff, and volunteers, as well as managing the financial and operational health of the organization. The President & CEO will also serve as the primary spokesperson, working to increase the visibility, funding, and community engagement of the organization. Applicants for the President & CEO position at the company should have a proven track record in a leadership role within a similar-sized organization, with prior nonprofit experience being ideal. The role requires excellent coalition-building skills, the ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of stakeholders, and a demonstrated capacity to manage and analyze budgets and financials. The ideal candidate will have outstanding presentation and communication skills, be comfortable as a lead spokesperson, and have a passion for the mission of the organization. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree preferred, and a background in the child welfare system is a plus. The candidate should be mission-driven, with a focus on integrity, a positive attitude, and an adaptive leadership style.
