Cyber Software Security Engineer Entry Level Join to apply for the Cyber Software Security Engineer Entry Level role at Jobs via Dice Job Description In this role, you will support the software cyber team performing the following: Responsibilities Leverage software development experience in DevOps/DevSecOps, Software Factory, and Agile Gain/utilize cybersecurity skills (training provided) Collaborate daily with software development teams to reduce/eliminate/avoid software vulnerabilities Participate in cyber risk assessments and Cyber Table Top (CTT) reviews in support of Cyber activities Conduct cybersecurity evaluation of software designs to verify and validate compliance with defined specifications and requirements Basic Qualifications Experience with C++ in a team programming environment preferred Experience with Git or similar version control system Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, Python or similar Final Secret Clearance Possess or earn DoD 8570 IAT Level II, or higher, certification (e.g., Security+, GSEC, etc.) within 90 days of hire (training provided) Desired Skills Cross-team, cross-discipline, collaborative approach, focusing on win-win solutions Internal and external customer focus where customer success matters Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps, software factory / automated build pipelines, and Agile Software development experience with embedded systems Knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Development and C++ Desire to mentor and be mentored Vulnerability Analysis Knowledge of Open Source Intelligence and similar methodologies Technical writing and presentation skills Networking fundamentals Familiar with Risk Management Framework (RMF) Penetration Testing / Red Team experience Employer Information EEO Lockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer. Work Schedule Information: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. National Pay Statement Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $65,300 - $115,230. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location.
