Overview of the Data & Analytics Team:
Our Data & Analytics team focuses on creating and deploying capabilities to drive business results. The team includes data scientists, engineers, analytics consultants, and product managers who solve complex business problems. We manage the full analytics lifecycle, from understanding business challenges to developing data assets, applying analytical techniques, and visualizing findings. We also develop tools and applications, and train colleagues across the business.

We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our growing team. The role involves executing complex analytics, building tools, applying advanced techniques, and contributing to the technical roadmap. You will receive top-tier training, work on diverse projects, and intersect data science with business understanding to deliver insights.

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end data science projects, deploying machine learning models in cloud environments to solve business challenges.
  • Guide clients in interpreting models and integrating insights into their workflows.
  • Address complex analytical challenges, managing multiple client engagements.
  • Perform data aggregation, cleaning, modeling (geospatial, ML, NLP, GenAI), and visualization.
  • Contribute to the technical roadmap for client projects.

Analytical Apps, Service Lines, and Proprietary Data Assets

  • Develop advanced analytical applications using current machine learning algorithms.
  • Collaborate to innovate on apps, service lines, and data assets.
  • Provide expertise and leadership in developing analytical tools and assets.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and uphold high standards.

Client / Business Development

  • Assist senior leaders in creating and delivering client proposals involving analytics.
  • Contribute to training and upskilling the Data & Analytics team.

Capability Development

  • Stay current with software, tools, and techniques to provide top solutions.
  • Support staff training and develop the technical roadmap for the analytics function.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in a quantitative/business discipline (e.g., Statistics, CS, Data Science, Math, Engineering, Economics).
  • At least 2 years of applied data science experience with machine learning and statistical modeling.
  • Proficiency in Python, Spark, SQL; familiarity with Alteryx and Tableau preferred.
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, data science techniques, and cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with MLOps practices, data manipulation, and large datasets.
  • Experience in business analytics; consulting experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to explain complex concepts to stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced, matrix, and agile environments.

  • In CA, IL, NY, the salary range is $85,000 - $120,000 USD, with bonuses and benefits.
