Salary: $85,000 $95,000 + bonus opportunities

About the Firm

A locally owned commercial real estate firm specializing in office, industrial, and retail properties is seeking a Director of Property Management to lead and grow the property management division.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing a team, building strong landlord and tenant relationships, and managing a diverse portfolio of commercial properties. The Director will have oversight of both day-to-day operations and long-term strategy, balancing financial, operational, and tenant-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a growing property management team
• Oversee and manage relationships with landlords and tenants, ensuring excellent service and retention.
• Partner with accounting and brokerage teams on financial management, reporting, and operational performance.
• Manage budgets, leases, contracts, and vendor relationships across a diverse portfolio.
• Conduct property site visits
• Ensure smooth daily operations while driving growth of the property management division.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field.
• Certifications: CPM, RPA, or CCIM preferred (not required).

Experience:

• 7+ years in commercial property management.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience managing teams and building client/tenant relationships.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong financial acumen; ability to manage multi-million-dollar budgets.
• Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, MRI, Building Engines, or similar).
• In-depth knowledge of commercial leases, property operations, and tenant relations.
