Location: Stratford, CT

Employment Type: Full-Time

As an Assembler, you will be responsible for building electro/mechanical sub-assemblies per specification within standard cycle times while maintaining quality requirements and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

\n
• \n Assembly: Organizes and verifies components. Assembles sub-assemblies in a safe and timely fashion. Checks quality and operation of work. Maintains all required documentation.
\n
• \n Documentation: Completes any and all quality and assembly documentation as required. Ensure that design, implementation, test, and maintenance methods/processes are developed as well as executed in a manner, which supports all Quality Standards.
\n
• \n Daily use of MRP system: Training requirements, reporting activity, accessing BOM/WI, and inventory searches.
\n
• Properly disposition defective parts using NMR process.
\n
• Daily management boards Introduced.
\n
• Meet production, quality, efficiency, and safety requirements and standards.
\n
• Responsible for providing all documents error-free.
\n
• Participate in cross-training to meet schedule needs.
\n
• Independently identify the root cause of moderate assembly issues in a timely manner.
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions such as assembly procedures and assembly drawings.
\n
• Ability to perform mechanical assemblies of sub-assembly using standard crimpers and hand tools.
\n
• Responsible for meeting or exceeding production, quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
\n
• Ability to cooperate with others in a team effort to accomplish objectives.
\n
• Must be able to read and understand English.
\n
• Ability to understand daily management boards.
\n
• Basic computer knowledge
\n

\n
Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; curriculum including math, written comprehension, and oral communications.

\n
Experience:

\n
• Technical School or 1+ years of electro/mechanical experience with blueprint reading preferred.
\n
• Experience with using basic mechanical electrical tooling and measuring devices.
\n

• Production Supervisor
