James Imaging has been an award-winning provider of office equipment, software technologies, and services in southeast Wisconsin for over 40 years. We have been supporting our clients with tier-one products and outstanding service to ensure they have the tools to communicate and share their important documents quickly and efficiently.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail oriented Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic administrative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the procurement process from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, Maintain and Grow relationships with vendors in a professional and courteous manner
• Negotiate pricing
• Exceptional communication with vendor representatives
• Audit pricing to ensure we have the most aggressive cost

• Ordering of Equipment, Parts, Supplies and Solutions and Building maintenance items in a timely manner to fill orders in hand and to provide stock for future needs.

• Set up new Equipment, Parts and Supply items in ERP with the correct coding.

• Use best practices to identify highest quality products at the lowest available price.

• Maintain Min and Max levels in ERP system

Ideal Candidates:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Excellent attention to detail

• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• High degree of honesty and integrity

• Ability to work under pressure and remain calm and composed

• Creativity and ability to "think outside of the box"

• Follow up on open orders, report ETA's on back-ordered product.

• Development and use of alternate sources of supply when needed.

• Ability to calculate and understand run rates (usage) as it related to planning for future purchasing

• Ability to work under pressure and remain calm and composed.

Qualifications:

• Above average math skills. Ability to calculate averages, mark-ups, and discounts in particular

• An intuitive mindset: being able to identify when something does not look right based on prior knowledge

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or the ability to learn it quickly

• Ability to work with different personality types

• A minimum of a high school diploma

• Compose professional work emails and responses for both internal and external communication
