Duties, Responsibilities & Other Align solutions to the customer’s goals, needs and objectives Provide consultation and training to customers and team members Interpret specifications and build solutions to those specifications Develop hardware/software solutions in a logical, creative, and structured manner that will help customers solve problems Collaborate with customers, cross‑functional teams, and subject matter experts to identify compelling solutions Interact with customers to execute the technical aspects of the strategy Work efficiently in a team setting on projects to successful completion Exercise judgement in developing and implementing methods and techniques to obtain desired results following industry best practices Deliver right‑sized technology solutions/services within the allocated budget Provide technical support Develop technical documentation Stay current on latest technologies and methods Regularly interact and build relationships with team members, managers, customers, and business partners Support development of proposals in response to Request for Proposals (RFPs) Support business development and marketing initiatives by meeting with customers and prospective customers, attending industry events, and giving presentations Comply with all KCI policies and procedures Complete other duties as required/assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field is required. Minimum three years of experience as a Solutions Analyst or similar role Demonstrated experience to learn quickly and apply new technologies to solve problems Ability to develop and maintain deep knowledge of customers, data, business, and markets Demonstrated ability to communicate well with colleagues and customers, both written and oral Pre‑employment drug screening and background check is a condition of employment. Motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position. Education, Skills and/or Experiences Preferred Experience in utilities, facilities, transportation, water, and/or state/local government markets Familiarity with software development and systems engineering Knowledgeable of APIs, distributed backend systems, dimensional data modeling, SQL queries and schema design Experience with cloud technologies Understanding of prompt engineering, context window management, and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) techniques Practical knowledge of Azure OpenAI, OpenAI API, or other cloud‑hosted LLM platforms Knowledge designing, fine‑tuning, and deploying Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, or Llama for enterprise or research applications. Experience implementing, configuring, and maintaining ArcGIS Enterprise; skilled in using Esri technologies for map creation, spatial analysis, and web application configuration; proficient in building web apps and pages with ArcGIS Experience Builder; and familiar with Microsoft Power Automate for process automation Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Engineering and Information Technology #J-18808-Ljbffr KCI
