Job Description

About the Role As a Sales Advisor, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, welcoming and guiding customers through your store to actively sell products and provide support and guidance. You’ll use fashion and product knowledge to share relevant information for the best customer experience. You’ll also be involved in garment refill and care, presentation, and maintaining a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house, working closely with the store team to deliver an excellent customer experience. A Day in the Life Working at H&M means no two days are the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities. Customer Sales & Profit: Provide excellent customer service, welcome and guide customers through the store and the OMNI experience where available, and support direct customer service; engage with customers to provide excellent service; guide customers through fashion trends, stories and products; promote and sell products; actively promote our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives; represent the H&M brand positively in all interactions; support with commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets with the store management team General Information Responsibilities by Area Fashion & Trend Awareness : Keep up-to-date with fashion scene, trends, styles, brands, products, competitors, and relevant influencers; share relevant information with customers using product and fashion knowledge Team & Development : Retain and share service, fashion and store operations knowledge with colleagues; follow procedures, routines, and legal requirements; give and receive feedback; participate in onboarding, introductions and trainings relevant to the role and future development Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution : Complete full garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming and garment care; operate fitting room and checkout areas following best practices; contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house; support garment presentation, execution and attractive merchandise displays; maintain stock levels with replenishment; follow in-store OMNI services and tech tools; assist with opening and closing of the store; follow all health & safety guidelines and legal requirements Qualifications As a Sales Advisor, you’ll be passionate about fashion and what we create in-store; motivated by giving customers a great experience Strong communication, creativity and curiosity; motivated, flexible, decisive and action-oriented Enjoy working in a collaborative and dynamic environment Have sales experience in a dynamic, collaborative environment applicable to the role Experience in customer service in fashion, retail or other service-related industries Why You’ll Love Working at H&M Diversity and inclusion are valued; we operate with seven values accumulated over 75 years Access to Colleague Resource Groups for community and networking opportunities Inclusive company culture where you’re encouraged to be yourself Access to a global talent community with opportunities for career growth Comprehensive benefits including health insurance, wellness and family support, retirement plan, paid leave, and paid time off; includes a community day to serve your local community Employee discount at H&M and other Group brands Additional Information Job Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt EEOC Code: SLS Compensation: Sales Associates Pay Rate $18.00 per hour *This job posting highlights the most critical responsibilities and requirements of the job and is not all-inclusive.
