Insight Global is assisting a global manufacturer of luxury glassware in their search for an International Logistics Coordinator that will be sitting in Fairfield, CA. This person will be assisting with the flow of traffic and distribution of goods throughout the warehouse. They will be assisting with the documentation process of international imports and ensuring proper paperwork is filled out for inbound ocean freight.
This role is a contract role onsite in Fairfield, CA. there is a possibility for extension or conversation but it is not guaranteed. The Pay rate for this role is $25 an hour but is flexible for the right individual. this role is a full 40 hours a week Monday through Friday and will be working standard business hours.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience with SAP
Experience with Harmonized tariff codes and Customs classification codes
Experience with international shipments handling SCAC codes, freight forwarding, and working with customers or ocean carriers
Dispatch the trucks to the proper docks of the building based on materials
Documentation of inventory and month end process
