Job Summary

We're looking for a hardworking Janitor, who is willing to go through our comprehensive training program and learn our systems. You will learn everything you need to know, from the pH scale to chemical safety, and more. As part of a team, you may clean various locations throughout the evening. This cleaning may involve, but is not limited to, vacuuming (backpack or upright), trash collection, moping, restroom cleaning, window cleaning, etc. The ideal candidate has great work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Must take pride in their work!

Responsibilities 

• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building
• Adhere to company systems and training
• Submit to regular knowledge testing
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily
• Clean windows, spot clean carpets, and supply restrooms on a regular basis
• Wipe up spills and other hazards with sponges and squeegees
• Secure the building by locking doors once cleaning is complete
• Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major issues

Qualifications

• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
• Entry level — No experience necessary
• Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite
• Excellent stamina and physical health
• Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
