We like to think of ourselves as matchmakers between generous hearts and worthy causes. Our vibe? Positive, purpose-driven, and a little bit competitive (we love smashing goals). If you’re excited by the idea of helping charities grow while you grow your own skills and career, let’s talk.

As our next Nonprofit Event Sales and Promotions Associate, you’ll help plan, promote, and energize on-the-ground campaigns that make fundraising both fun and impactful. Love a fast-paced atmosphere that values teamwork and collaboration? Be part of Linking Minds and let’s champion causes that matter - together!

  • Drive donations and support through persuasive communication and effective sales techniques, meeting and exceeding fundraising targets for various campaigns
  • Work closely with fellow Nonprofit Event Sales and Promotions Associates, along with the marketing and sales teams to ensure cohesive campaign messaging and seamless event delivery, fostering a collaborative work environment
  • Gather attendee information and feedback at events, contributing to post-event analysis and reporting to identify areas for improvement and success
  • Represent our partnered charities with professionalism and passion, embodying the positive and purpose-driven values of the organization
  • Potentially assist in recruiting, training, and managing event volunteers, ensuring they are well-informed and effectively contributing to the success of each event

Qualities We Look For In A Nonprofit Event Sales And Promotions Assistant:

  • Proven experience in sales, promotions, or customer service, ideally within a fast-paced or event-driven environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a genuine passion for supporting charitable causes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaboration skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and willingness to learn new tools
  • A competitive spirit with a drive to achieve and exceed fundraising goals
