Overview
Join our team as a Study Hall Monitor, where you'll play a vital role in supporting student athletes! Working closely with the Supervisor, you will assist with checking students in and out, ensuring a focused and positive environment, and helping students access valuable campus resources. If you enjoy working with students and contributing to their success, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities
  • Open and close the BDAC Study Lounge according to the designated schedule
  • Manage the check-in and check-out process for all student-athletes accessing the Library and Learning Center
  • Support the upkeep of a productive and welcoming learning environment within both the BDAC and LLC
  • Assist student-athletes in navigating university educational systems and platforms
  • Prepare and submit a detailed nightly report to the Supervisor, highlighting any concerns following each study hall session
  • Adhere to the established policies and procedures set forth by athletic and library staff
  • Maintain compliance with the Student Code of Conduct at all times
  • Collaborate regularly with supervisors and fellow monitors to ensure smooth operations and communication
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Completion of at least 30 college credits (sophomore standing or higher)
  • Consistent academic performance with a minimum 3.5 GPA each semester and overall
  • Demonstrated responsibility, reliability, and punctuality in previous roles
  • Strong cultural sensitivity and proven ability to build positive relationships with a diverse student population
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous enrollment at Utah State University with familiarity of campus platforms such as Banner, Canvas, and MyUSU
