Pharmacy Delivery Driver

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Active Massachusetts Driver's License.
• Must have own vehicle for transportation.
• Must be flexible and be able to work different schedules to meet client and Pharmacy needs.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism and respect; regard for patient privacy is essential.
• Organizational skills are a must.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Computer literacy.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties:

• Verify the patient's address, phone number, and time of delivery.
• Load vehicles with medications/products for a routine delivery.
• Provide timely and accurate completion of deliveries efficiently and courteously.
• Verify receipt and provide a signature for receipt of items delivered.
• Process any required paperwork according to established procedures.

Working Conditions:

• This position requires the ability to use a computer workstation, viewing and operating a keyboard or iPad; the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time; the ability to perform moderate activities such as climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 20 pounds at times; and potential exposure to adverse outdoor environmental conditions.
• Handling controlled temperature medications per pharmacy policy and procedures.
• Communicating with patients before deliveries.

Salary ranges from $19 - $25.53.
