Job Description Specialty accepted: Radiation Oncology
Start date or shifts: November 1, 2025 ongoing; full-time schedule
Daily schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m.; call every other week concurrent with outpatient coverage
Practice setting: Hospital-based (Outpatient and On-call Inpatient Consults)
Types of procedures: 2D & 3D radiation therapy, IMRT, IGRT, DIBH, SBRT, SRS, and brachytherapy (cylinders only); simulations (2 3 daily); daily image review
Number of patients: 30 treatment patients per day on average; 2 new consults, 1 reevaluation, and 2 follow-ups daily
Ages: Adults
Additional information: Must hold or obtain Pennsylvania license (IMLC accepted); prefers local/drive-in candidates (only one flight comped per month); call involves patient inquiries and inpatient radiation consultations; Epic EMR; average 8 12 consults per week shared with another physician; two linacs (Trilogy & EDGE TrueBeam) with full support staff including physicists, dosimetrists, therapists, and nurses; chart rounds Wednesdays at 8:00 a.m.; peer review Tuesdays; privileges within 30 days
