Our client, a well-established contractor specializing in commercial and industrial insulation, is seeking a Project Manager / Estimator to join their team onsite in Aston, PA.

In this role, youll play a key part in estimating, bidding, and developing sales strategies for industrial and mechanical insulation projects partnering with mechanical contractors and general contractors to secure profitable work. Youll lead preconstruction efforts by interpreting drawings, preparing detailed bids, and positioning the company to win projects. Once awarded, youll oversee projects from a business and client-relations standpoint, working with field teams to ensure smooth execution and long-term customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities :

• Lead estimating and bidding efforts for commercial and industrial insulation projects.
• Develop sales strategies for target customers and bid strategies for target jobs to secure repeat and new business.
• Interpret specifications, perform takeoffs, and prepare detailed cost estimates using MIKE software and Excel.
• Prepare and submit proposals, attend pre-bid meetings, and coordinate vendor pricing and bond requests.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, serving as the primary point of contact from preconstruction through project completion.
• Oversee project execution post-award by coordinating with field teams and subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Manage change orders, billing, and receivables while proactively communicating with customers about project progress.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior team members.

Requirements :

• 4+ years of experience estimating in mechanical insulation or mechanical systems (e.g., piping, ductwork) in a construction environment.
• Experience preparing and winning bids for commercial or industrial projects.
• Ability to read specifications, perform takeoffs, and prepare proposals.
• Proficiency with MIKE estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
• Able to manage multiple bids and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; comfortable building long-term customer relationships.
• Valid drivers license and ability to travel within Southeast Pennsylvania, Northeast Maryland, and Northern Delaware.

Salary: $85,000 - $95,000, plus annual incentive bonus

Estimated Yearly earnings: 112,000-142,500+

Location: Aston, Pennsylvania(Onsite)

Travel: Weekly/Monthly to local client sites
