Job Description: The Department of Radiation Oncology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in Boston is actively seeking full-time faculty members with interest/expertise in breast malignancies. The physicians will provide care at BIDMC/Longwood Medical Area. Experience in SBRT/Cyberknife treatment, and a strong interest in clinical/translational research is desirable. Responsibilities will include clinical care and teaching/research activity as appropriate, with an academic appointment at Harvard Medical School at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor, to be determined based on experience and qualifications. This role is an employment model position in Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
The applicant will be expected to meet the following requirements for employment:
- Massachusetts Medical License
- Board Certification in Radiation Oncology/eligibility within one year of employment
- MA Controlled Substance Registration
- Individual Federal DEA

About Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center: We seek Radiation Oncologists to join our growing organization. BIDMC is the flagship academic medical center of Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH), a health care system consisting of 13 tertiary, specialty and community hospitals in Eastern Massachusetts. The Department of Radiation Oncology at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, affiliated with Harvard Medical School, will be a major component of the Dana Farber-BIDMC cancer collaboration. The breast program at BIDMC will be significantly expanding during fall 2025-2026. We offer state of the art treatments involving a vast array of technologies and a large team of health care experts. Our faculty provides care at the Longwood campus as well as three community sites located in Winchester and Needham, MA and Exeter, NH.

Pay Range: $481,000 - $534,000
The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality HMFP also offers a comprehensive and generous employee benefits program to eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plan(s) with employer contributions.
