Pay Rate: The pay rate for this job is $20 - $20/hour.

What you'll be doing as a Seamstress (Awnings and Textiles):

• Measure, cut, and sew various outdoor fabrics (e.g., canvas, vinyl, acrylic) according to project requirements
• Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines and related tools
• Follow work orders, blueprints, and templates to ensure accuracy in size, shape, and stitching
• Assemble and reinforce seams, hems, and edges to ensure durability and weather resistance
• Inspect finished products for quality, making adjustments or repairs as needed
• Collaborate with production team to meet deadlines and maintain workflow
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with all safety procedures
• Assist in fabric inventory management, including labeling, folding, and storing materials

Available shifts: Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Previous experience as a seamstress, tailor, or sewing machine operator (industrial sewing experience preferred)
• Ability to work with heavy or large fabric pieces
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to read and follow measurements, patterns, or instructions
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift moderate to heavy materials during the workday
• Dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Preferred Skills (Not Required)
• Experience in awning, upholstery, marine canvas, or similar textile industries
• Knowledge of heat sealing, grommeting, or other finishing techniques
• Basic understanding of shop tools and fabrication processes
