As a Security Officer - Armed Patrols in Linwood, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a leading food and beverage distribution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This armed post requires you to carry out your duties with professionalism and integrity, while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a secure environment.
• Monitor for unusual activity or potential threats within the food and beverage location, reporting observations according to established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as appropriate.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols for access control, incident reporting, and emergency response.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related situation that may arise during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
