Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

What the Senior Accounts Payable Specialist will do:

• Invoice Processing: Review, code, and process a high volume of vendor invoices ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Payments Management: Prepare and execute payments via check, ACH, and wire transfer while monitoring payment schedules to avoid late fees.
• Vendor Relations: Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies, answer inquiries, and maintain positive relationships.
• Reconciliation: Perform monthly account reconciliations of AP sub-ledgers to the general ledger.
• Expense Reports: Review and process employee expense reports in accordance with company policies.
• Assist with audit and month end close.

What the company needs in a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist:

• 3-5 years of AP or full cycle accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP, AP processes and expense reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi task, and organizational skills.
• Excel proficiency- Pivot Tables & VLookups preferred.
