Join our Team! We offer the opportunity to work with global market leaders! Acutronic is looking for a Software Engineer Co-Op to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and enhancing both front-end and back-end user developments. This is a temporary, full-time position consisting of three co-op rotations This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Software Engineer Co-Op Your Roles/Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and enhance both front-end and back-end user developments.
- Develop tools to integrate with existing ERP systems.
- Collaborate closely with the Electrical, Controls, and Software Engineering Team Leader.
- Identify problems, assess needs, and propose effective solutions
- Work with the team to develop internal tools using SQL/mySQL databases and MS Access.
Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Must have completed at least two years of academic studies at an accredited college or university
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Understanding of SQL, mySQL, and C#/C++ programming languages
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as participate as part of a team
- Multi-tasking ability
- Keen attention to detail
