General Description BeiGene's Data Insights (DI) team, a vital part of the Data Science & Digital Innovations (DSDI) group under the Global Statistics and Data Science (GSDS), is seeking a highly motivated Summer Intern to contribute to our ongoing Large Language Models (LLM) projects. This role offers the unique opportunity to be at the forefront of applying cutting-edge AI technologies to solve real-world problems in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical fields, enhancing our capabilities in drug development and patient care. Essential Functions Of The Job Assist in the development and implementation of Large Language Models (LLM) to support various data analytics projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs, gather requirements, and implement LLM solutions. Conduct research on the latest LLM technologies and methodologies, suggesting improvements to existing models. Participate in the design and execution of experiments to validate models and techniques. Prepare and present findings to the team, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis. Contribute to the development of tools and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our data science efforts Computer Skills Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R. Familiarity with Large Language Model LLM, machine learning, and NLP concepts. Experience with cloud computing and high-performance computing environments is preferred. Other Qualifications Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R. Familiarity with machine learning, deep learning, and NLP concepts.
