We're seeking a driven and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Sales Team Leader. This entry-level position offers an exciting career path, with clear progression into a leadership and management role within 6-12 months. As a Trainee Sales Team Leader, you’ll start in a hands-on sales position, engaging with customers face-to-face. After mastering this, you will progress to leadership responsibilities, including mentoring new team members, overseeing a team, and taking on management duties. We’re looking for ambitious and motivated individuals who are eager to grow within a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Phase 1: Entry-Level Sales Focus
Initially, you will work directly with customers in a sales-focused role, promoting and selling products and services. This stage will help you build essential sales skills, customer service expertise, and confidence, setting you up for a successful transition into leadership.
Key Responsibilities (Entry Level):
Engage with Customers Directly: You’ll approach potential customers face-to-face, introducing and promoting the client’s products and services in business locations, public spaces, or residential areas.
Achieve Sales Goals: Meet and exceed individual sales targets, directly impacting your earnings through commissions and performance-based bonuses.
Deliver Excellent Customer Service: Build strong relationships with customers by addressing their needs, answering questions, and providing a positive experience throughout the sales process.
Gain Product Knowledge: Learn about the products or services you’re selling so you can confidently present their benefits to potential customers.
Work Independently and Collaborate: While much of the work will be independent, there will be opportunities to collaborate with other team members during sales events or campaigns.
This phase will help you develop a solid foundation in sales, preparing you for the next step in your career journey.
Phase 2: Leadership and Team Development Focus
Once you've demonstrated success in your sales role, you’ll move into leadership responsibilities, guiding and mentoring a team of sales associates. You’ll gain experience managing people and overseeing day-to-day operations, while continuing to develop your leadership and management skills.
Key Responsibilities (Progression to Leadership):
Lead and Inspire a Team: Oversee a small team of sales assistants, providing guidance and support, motivating the team to meet targets, and sharing strategies to overcome challenges.
Mentorship and Training: Assist in training new team members, ensuring they understand the sales process and client expectations.
Involvement in Recruitment and HR Tasks: Participate in the recruitment process by helping with interviews and selecting new team members. You will also be involved in performance reviews and managing team dynamics.
Organize and Lead Sales Campaigns: Manage and coordinate sales events and campaigns, ensuring your team meets set targets and objectives.
Reporting and Feedback: Track team performance, compile reports, and provide feedback to management on how the team is progressing.
Final Stage: Management Position
After excelling in your leadership role, you’ll have the opportunity to progress into a full management position within 6-12 months. In this role, you’ll take on a larger team and have more responsibility in shaping the sales strategy for the department.
Key Responsibilities (Management Role):
Manage Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee the operations of the sales team, ensuring targets are met, managing performance, and providing constructive feedback to team members.
HR and Recruitment: Handle recruitment, onboarding, and training for new hires. Manage performance reviews, conduct interviews, and guide the development of your team.
Develop Sales Strategies: Work closely with senior management to help create sales strategies, set goals, and track team performance.
Ongoing Coaching and Development: Provide continuous mentorship and coaching to team members, ensuring their success and personal growth within the company.
What We Are Looking For:
No Experience Required: Full training is provided. Previous experience in sales, retail, customer service, or hospitality is beneficial but not required.

Confidence and People Skills: Ability to approach and engage with customers face-to-face.
