Position: Clinical Lab Scientist (Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician)
Location: Lubbock, TX
Shift: 2nd Shift | Thursday – Monday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Duration: 12 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Status: Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician to perform complex clinical laboratory testing and ensure accurate, timely results. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing in areas such as Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, and Transfusion Services.
• Maintain quality control, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate patient results.
• Follow all safety and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience (preferred).
• ASCP or equivalent certification (preferred).
• Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Ability to stand and move throughout shifts.
• BLS certification may be required.

Assignment & Pay Details

Duration: 12 Weeks
Hours: 40 per week | Overtime after 40 hours
Holiday Coverage: Required
EMR: Cerner

Traveler Pay (W2):

• Hourly: $65.00/hr
• Weekly Gross: $2,600.00
  • Taxable: $1,360.00
  • Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,240.00

Traveler Pay (1099):

• Hourly: $70.00/hr
• Weekly Gross: $2,800.00
