This position involves a night shift from Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. There will be no on-call duties and no shifts on Friday or Saturday.

\n\nJob Description\n

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures to support accurate patient diagnosis and treatment. This role requires strong technical expertise, exceptional patient care, and strict adherence to safety and compliance standards.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Perform accurate patient positioning, equipment setup, and image acquisition.
\n
• Ensure compliance with National Patient Safety Goals and departmental standards.
\n
• Maintain detailed patient records, including clinical history and symptoms.
\n
• Educate patients on procedures, address questions, and provide compassionate care.
\n
• Assist physicians with fluoroscopic and invasive radiological procedures.
\n
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and ensure adequate inventory.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Certificate or advanced training in Radiologic Technology from a JRCERT-accredited program; Associate's degree preferred.
\n
• Minimum of 2 years of radiography experience required (2-3 years preferred).
\n
• ARRT Registry in Radiography (or registry-eligible).
\n
• NJDEP X-Ray License.
\n
• Current CPR/BLS certification for healthcare providers.
\n
• Proficiency in diagnostic imaging techniques and patient care; knowledge of C-Arm operation required.
\n
