Crafco, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Fleet Service Mechanic at our Bridgeton, MO supply center.

We're seeking a mechanic to service our equipment rental fleet and customer equipment. Great hours M-F, full time at our Bridgeton, MO service center paying up to $20-$30 per hour dependent upon experience. The qualified applicant will provide technical support, assess issues and perform appropriate repairs, as well as perform routine and preventative maintenance for our rental equipment and customer equipment.

Equipment Fleet Mechanic Duties:

• Assess equipment and perform appropriate service and/or repairs for customer equipment and rental fleet equipment
• Provide technical assistance to customers and sales personnel, as needed
• Meet with customers or sales personnel to discuss services required, and identify customer needs for their equipment
• Manage and maintain rental fleet equipment, providing pre and post rental inspections and repair as needed
• Manage the routine and preventative maintenance of rental and demo equipment fleet
• Perform quality inspections of new units delivered from manufacturing center. This includes a full run-up upon delivery to our service center, and pre-delivery inspections before delivery to customer(s).
• Provide technical support and/or answer questions over the phone for customers regarding parts and equipment
• Assist the shipping department with pulling and packing parts orders

Equipment Fleet Mechanic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 1+ years related work experience
• Mechanical aptitude; familiarity with variety of tools and their safe use/operation
• Valid US Driver's License with acceptable driving history
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in prioritizing and executing work responsibilities
• Physical ability to perform job functions including but not limited to: standing, sitting, bending, squatting, or remaining in uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time, lifting/moving large, bulky and/or heavy items (50 lbs. or more) frequently, working in adverse conditions including hot/cold both indoors and outdoors and/or in inclement weather
• Must possess a high degree of safety-awareness and knowledge to safely operate tools including power tools, torches, lifts, drills, etc.
• Display and encourage a positive attitude, work well with others
• Desire to support customer's needs and provide outstanding service and deliver quality work
• Ability for local travel, as needed
