Title: Wastewater Treatment Operator

Status: Full-time On-site

Location: Greentree Landfill, Centralized Wastewater Treatment Facility, 635 Toby Rd, Kersey, PA 15846

Noble Environmental is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Operator responsible for helping to operate and maintain our biological and chemical treatment facility. The individual in this role must be flexible to work alone or with coworkers and be willing to learn and complete various tasks. A maintenance background is a plus. We are seeking an applicant to work 4 to 5 days per week, 8 to 10 hours per shift. This position will include training in operations, maintenance, and some basic laboratory work in our onsite lab. The duties herein are intended to describe the general nature of the work performed by this position and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Daily operations, general maintenance, operation of solids removal equipment, and some general labor tasks around the facility.
  • Dumping and cleaning plate and frame press, belt press.
  • Working with other plant operators and mechanics to operate and maintain the facility.
  • Performing tasks associated with working with customers and tracking materials.
  • Mixing and tracking materials and chemicals needed to operate the facility.
  • Following and enforcing all required Noble safety policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

  • Must be a self-starter and able to work with coworkers or alone to complete tasks.
  • Willing to work 40 to 50 hours per week.
  • Liquid waste treatment, preventive maintenance, or a mechanical background is a plus.
